Mafia founding fathers Nick Dikeos and Eddie Noel recently had the opportunity to go down to Buffalo Trace to help local Northern Ky store owner Doug Gallenstein of a Liquor City select 10 barrels of bourbon to bottle .. Those choices included Blanton’s, Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, Weller and 1792… All these were sampled at barrel proof and then at consumer strength .. Nick and Eddie was even able to retrieve the bourbon straight from the barrel via a bourbon thief. Some 5 hours later and quantities of bourbon consumed the selections were made.. We certainly appreciate the great time and the mafia being asked to be involved in this process..
